APQP & PPAP Master Class (AS9145:2023) – incorporates Quizzes, Tests, ‘hands-on’ Exercises and Personal assignments to empower participants in both the implementation of the APQP & PPAP methodology and the use of all of the essential ‘quality tools’ including the statistical software package Minitab®.
Design Failure Mode & Effects Analysis (DFMEA) – understand how to apply risk-based thinking and risk management to product design and be able to use DFMEA 'scoping tools’ including: B-O-M, Block/boundary diagram, Interface matrix, Parameter diagram and Structure & Function Analysis.
Process Failure Mode & Effects Analysis (PFMEA) & Control Plans – learn from scratch how to understand and apply risk-based thinking and risk management and be able to undertake value-adding Process PFMEAs and create effective Control Plans, with special reference to the aerospace and defence sectors.
Measurement Systems Analysis (MSA) – appreciate the nature and types of variation present in measurement systems and be able to conduct measurement system analysis (MSA) studies on ‘variable’ and ‘attribute’ gauges (GR&R) including visual/workmanship inspection.
First Article Inspection (FAI) ~ AS9102:2023 Rev C – interpret and be able to deploy the requirements of AS9102:2023 Rev C Aerospace First Article Inspection, complete of the new FAI report forms, and avoid FAIR rejections
Process control methods & SPC – qualify as ‘subject expert’ who understands the theory and is capable of implementing capability studies and process control charts (SPC – Statistical Process Control) and the training of operators.
