IAQG aerospace auditor competency training courses
The IAQG publish the minimum body of knowledge for AQMS auditors who participate in AQMS certification audits in the form of four Training Course Specification Sheets (TCSS). These are known as the Aerospace auditor competency training courses.
TCSS 001 – AS9100 (ASD) Lead Auditor Course (CQI/IRCA and IAQG Certified)
The course is delivered over 5 consecutive days with the 2-hour written examination taking place on Day #5. This meets the IAQG mandated ‘baseline training’ requirement for AAs and AEAs.
TCSS 002 – ASD Industry Specific Knowledge Course
TCSS 003 – Aviation Maintenance Knowledge Course
TCSS 004 – Regulatory Aviation Maintenance (AM) Specific Course
Safety Management System (SMS)
Safety Management System (SMS) is an organized approach to managing safety, including the necessary organizational structures, accountabilities, policies, objectives and procedures. Now a requirement for Part 21 Sub G & Sub J.
Configuration Management (CM) & Notice of Change (NOC)
Configuration management (CM) is the process of taking care of products by managing all aspects of the data surrounding them – including all the changes – throughout the product life cycle.
CM manages processes, relationships and deliverables between different organizations.
Notification of Change (NOC) refers to a formal process used to communicate proposed changes to a product or system configuration within the supply chain.
NOC is a critical component of CM, ensuring that all relevant stakeholders are informed about impending changes and have the opportunity to assess their potential impact and provide feedback before implementation.
