Motorsport Internal Auditor Training

Programme overview

This 2-day practical course and workshop has been design for individuals who have no previous knowledge of either auditing or quality standards!

By the end of the two days participants will know how to plan and undertake internal (and supplier) audits in a manner suitable for the Motorsport sector. The course adopts a ‘process-based approach’ and includes instruction on how to assess the management of customer satisfaction, QMS performance and process-level effectiveness - in line with the requirements of both ISO 9001 and TS16949. Special attention is given to auditing the correct use of the automotive quality tools and techniques (i.e. the ‘core tools’).

The course is applicable to the latest revisions **of the **ISO 9001 and TS16949 standards.

Assessment of learning is achieved through structured exercises and real-world audit scenarios undertaken by the participants. The tutors provide feedback and advisement to ensure that best practice is fully understood in the context of the motorsport industry.

The 2-day course is highly interactive and uses group exercises and individual role-play scenarios. The course timings are -

Preparation for a ‘process-based approach’ QMS audit

  • Applying the ‘process-based’ auditing methodology

Any member of staff who will be called on to conduct internal (and supplier) audits against the stringent requirements of ISO 9001 and/or TS16949, and those who want to monitor process effectiveness and QMS performance. Remember that internal audits are mandatory requirements for both ISO 9001 and/or TS16949.

This course specifically designed for the Motorsport sector - no previous knowledge is required!
