Programme overview

TEC Transnational’s Team Leader Development Programme is delivered as five 1-day practical training sessions - each of which can be selected separately or as a 5-day programme. It’s a “pick’n mix” offer for you to choose. The training sessions progressively develop and improve leadership skills to enhance effectiveness within the team and organisation, enabling new team leaders to step-up to their new responsibilities.

All training sessions are delivered on-site at your premises and we can accommodate up to 10 students per session -

Day 1 - The Role of a Team Leader

Day 2 - Effective Communications

Day 3 - Effective Planning

  • Methods of planning, monitoring and developing with the team

  • Project/task selection – making the business case
  • Activity scheduling and CPA (Critical Path Analysis)
  • Organizing and managing the team
  • Forming - Storming - Norming – Performing - Adjourning

Day 4 - Operational Performance

  • Monitoring performance

Day 5 - Problem identification and resolution

The Team Leader Development Programme is currently only available as an in-company programme of courses. The host company is responsible for the venue costs.

It can also be delivered for a **Supplier Chain Group **– hosted by a ‘Parent’ customer organization.

Who should attend

The course was developed specifically for aerospace, defence, automotive, motorsport and rail organizations and their supply chains. The course is targeted at groups of individuals who are being earmarked as Team Leaders and future managers.
