Program overview
The ISO 9001:2015 certification program provides everything necessary to design, document and implement a practical QMS (quality management system) with the aim of achieving third-party ISO 9001:2015 certification in the shortest possible timeframe, without the hassle - guaranteed in writing!
Program details
Each ISO 9001:2015 Certification Program is customised to suit particular requirements, for example:
Starting from scratch where there is no existing third-party certification
Modernizing an existing quality management system using a 'process-based approach' replacing ‘mountains’ of narrative procedures with visual aids and simple flowcharts
Upgrading an existing ISO 9001:2008 system to exploit all of the new requirements
Working with your team, TEC use 'high level' visual aids to explain your processes, simplify procedures and actively manage effectiveness and performance. For example, working with clients in the UK, Europe and USA hundreds of narrative procedures have been eliminated and replaced by 4 to 8 key processes - with each process visually mapped onto just four pages! This results in a more efficient and streamlined business model and a user-friendly ISO 9001 system - all at a remarkably low cost.
The ISO 9001:2015 Certification Program is delivered in three phases to a timescale individually agreed with the client. Each phase has tangible ‘deliverables’ - with third-party certification being the deliverable of Phase-3 - guaranteed!
TEC work on a fixed price contract with no extras - payments are aligned with the program phases. The ISO 9001:2015 Certification Program deliverables are guaranteed in writing from the start.
Program benefits
TEC’s consultants work on-site with your personnel throughout development and implementation and we only consider the program complete after successful third-party certification. The ISO 9001:2015 Certification Program is particularly relevant for small to medium sized companies. Owner-Directors of smaller companies often cannot see the threats and opportunities posed by certification. Increasingly customers are mandating that their suppliers have ISO 9001 certification as a minimum. Frequently they also add in their own additional requirements. Third-party certification is rapidly becoming the “Passport” for doing business in all engineering sectors.
Certification alone is not sufficient! The documentation must practical, visual and useable by the operational personnel concerned. This is why TEC use process ‘GEMBA Boards’. It must add real value to the business, represent ‘best practice’, and focus on performance as well as conformity to ISO 9001 requirements.
The systems designed and implemented by TEC for their clients deliver all of these benefits. Because your personnel are involved every step of the way they will have ‘ownership’ of the processes making day-to-day operational success ‘custom-and-practice’.
Your ISO 9001 system will focus on customer priorities such as quality, delivery, responsiveness and cost-down performance and ensure that your processes are monitored for continuing effectiveness to boost profits and eliminate problems as soon as they are recognized. Risk-based thinking, the Process approach and Plan-Do-Check-Act cycle are considered to be the core concepts involved.
During the implementation phase, TEC will assess the competency of your personnel and then provide training and coaching as required to ensure that they can accomplish their jobs in a correct and consistent manner.
