Course overview
The FOD Prevention Program in Manufacturing (AS9146:2022) – Master Class – offers comprehensive coverage of all matters relating to Foreign Object Debris and the potential Foreign Object Damage.
During the course students will gain a full understanding of the AS9146:2017 and AS9100:2016 FOD-related requirements and learn about practical implementation strategies taken from industry sources (and NAS 412) to mitigate FOD risk using the most cost-effective solutions.
The 2-day Master Class is highly interactive and uses individual/team exercises, workshops and quizzes to achieve the objectives.
The course covers in detail everything that is needed to develop, document and implement AS9146:2022 and AS13100 conforming processes.

Each session is highly interactive and uses individual/team exercises, workshops and quizzes to ensure that students learn-by-doing. Advice on formulating a FOD Policy and documenting FOD-related processes is included.
Who should attend
Individuals who need to design, document, deploy, manage and audit a Foreign Object Damage (FOD) Prevention Program using AS9146:2022 and AS9100:2016 plus additional regulatory and customer-specific requirements.
The course will also provide the required knowledge and skills to qualify FOD Prevention Programme Management Representatives (an AS9146:2022 mandatory requirement).
Although primarily focused on the aerospace sector, the course material is equally applicable to other industries such as defence, automotive, motorsport and rail.
