The purpose of this book is to explain the principles and requirements of the ‘process approach’ and demonstrate how to design, document, and deploy a modern QMS using the process approach.
The intent is to demystify the process approach by systematically explaining –

the steps to determine an organization’s unique identity, context and ‘issues’
controlled conditions and planned arrangements
monitoring and measurement of performance (results)
the three categories of QMS processes
how to document processes and the entire QMS
the principles and practices of auditing using a process approach
Everything is based on the practical experience gained by the author through direct involvement with hundreds of successful ISO 9001 certifications – using the process approach – and collaboration with organizations ranging from innovative SMEs to global OEMs in the automotive and aerospace/defence sectors.
The users of this book will be practitioners responsible for updating, documenting, and managing an organization’s QMS.
