The aerospace and defence supply chain is global, bringing many new competitors and opportunities. An emerging customer requirement is for their suppliers to implement APQP (Advanced Product Quality Planning) and PPAP (Production Part Approval Process) in full conformity with AS9145.
Implementing APQP and PPAP requires an in-depth knowledge of the essential processes and competency in the use of quality tools such as PFMEAs, DFMEAs, MSA (GR&R), Control Plans and Process Capacity Studies.
TEC's unique 3-day "Practitioner Master Class" incorporates ‘hands-on’ exercises and workshops to empower
participants in both the implementation of the APQP methodology and the use
of all of the ‘quality tools’ including the statistical software package Minitab®. In this way, they will acquire the knowledge
and skills to undertake successful new product introduction in full conformity with
AS9145 and the other applicable standards AS9103, AS13003, AS13004, SAE J1739
and AS13006 – plus customer-specific requirements.
The 3-day course is highly interactive and uses individual/team exercises, workshops and quizzes.
