The AESQ (Aerospace Engine Supplier Quality) is the SAE-G-22 technical committee who collaboratively publish, deploy and maintain common quality supplier requirements which facilitate lean capable processes and continual improvement in the global aero engine supply chain.
The creation of common quality standards which promote world-class best practices is central to the AESQ vision. To date six standards have been published –
- AS13000 – Problem Solving Requirements for Suppliers
- AS13001A – Delegated Product Release Verification Training Requirements
- AS13002 – Requirements for Developing and Qualifying Alternate Inspection Frequency Plans
- AS13003 – Measurement Systems Analysis Requirements for the Aero Engine Supply Chain
- AS13004 – Process Failure Mode and Effects Analysis (PFMEA) and Control Plans
- AS13006 – Process Control Methods
TEC's programme of practical courses is aimed at
individuals who wish to become Practitioners (subject experts) in one or more of the AESQ (and/or IAQG) standards. Empowerment is provided through a structured programme of practical training courses which incorporate 'hands-on' workshops and evaluation exercises.
Currently, TEC is offering 2-day practitioner training for the following AESQ standards –

TEC practitioner courses are also available focused on the following IAQG (international Aerospace Quality Group) standards –
All TEC courses are available in the UK as ‘public events’.
Successful completion of the courses builds the knowledge and skills required of an Aerospace/Defence Practitioner who can lead the deployment of these AESQ/IAQG standards.
The AESQ and IAQG standards demand practical and ‘hands-on’
training and evaluation for individuals to demonstrate their knowledge and skills
as ‘practitioners’. A practitioner is
capable of not only undertaking the tasks involved but can also provide the
leadership and ability to train others in their organization. TEC’s programme of practical courses is aimed at
