Team TEC are very excited about our new On-line Forum and we're hoping that industry will get behind us and use it. We often get asked the same questions from individuals in different companies several times a week, so having the ability to post answers on a forum for all to see, as well as discuss ‘hot topics’ pertinent to the industry will be of real benefit to aerospace/defence community. Looking ahead, we believe that the On-line Forum will be a huge help when the new AS9100 series of standards come out in April 2016, as there are always lots of questions and issues arising out of changes in industry regulations.

The IAQG (International Aerospace Quality Group) has agreed to align the transition to the forthcoming revised AS9100:2016 series standards with that of the ISO 9001:2015 standard which requires transition to no later than 15 September 2018. The revised IAQG AQMS standards are targeted for publication in April 2016.
The IAQG Other Party Management Team (OPMT) has drafted an ‘aggressive plan’ for transition after publication of the revised AS9100:2016 series standards. The OPMT will inform all stakeholders after coordination with the ABs (Accreditation Bodies - i.e. UKAS in the UK) and CBs (Certification Bodies).
