Who should attend

The program is aimed at all levels and specialisms in the company. In fact, any individual who will be involved in the design, development, implementation and operation of the AS9100:2016 series quality management system and AS9145:2016 (APQP & PPAP) deployment – and routine usage of the related tools and techniques.

Deliverables & benefits

Increasingly, the IAQG (International Aerospace Quality Group) and the aerospace/defence Primes and Tier-1’s are promoting higher quality and delivery requirements, and ever increasing and demanding standards of sustained performance, by their supply chains. The launch of AS9100:2016 Rev D standard brings many new aspects into play, and is an example of the changing aerospace landscape. In particular, aerospace/defence APQP & PPAP (AS9145:2016). The aerospace supply chain is global, bringing many new competitors and opportunities.

The essential ‘people competencies’ in the core aerospace/defence tools will ensure that supplier companies will consistently perform at their best to survive and thrive in the global aerospace supply chain.

Because TEC are an IAQG Training Provider, a CQI & IRCA Approved Training Partner, an SC21 Strategic Partner, and a global ASEQ Training Provider, consequently our training courses are recognised and accepted internationally.

A key element of the program is to simplify procedures and actively manage the effectiveness and performance of supplier QMS processes which interact with the customer. For example, working with clients in the UK and USA hundreds of narrative procedures have been eliminated and replaced by 4 to 8 key processes, with each process visually mapped onto just four pages! This has resulted in a more efficient and streamlined business model and a user-friendly QMS - embracing the 'process approach' and APQP & PPAP.
