The AS9110:2016 Implementation Programme provides everything necessary to design, document and implement a practical AS9110 QMS (quality management system) with the aim of achieving third-party certification in the shortest possible timeframe - guaranteed in writing! The programme is applicable to all organizations offering maintenance, repair and overhaul services to the aviation industry - including organizations holding a regulatory approval (EASA 145 and FAA 145).
Note: All third-party certifications, recertifications and surveillance audits will use the new AS9100 series of standards from 15th June 2017.
TEC consultants work on-site with your personnel throughout development and implementation and we only consider the programme complete after successful third-party certification!
Each programme is customised to suit particular requirements, for example:
Working with your team, TEC use high level visual aids to explain your QMS processes, simplify procedures and actively manage effectiveness and performance. For example, working with clients in the UK and USA hundreds of narrative procedures have been eliminated and replaced by 4 to 8 key processes - with each process visually mapped onto just four pages! The AS9110:2016 Implementation Programme is delivered in three phases to a timescale individually agreed with the client. Each phase has tangible ‘deliverables’ – with third-party certification being the deliverable of Phase-3!
TEC work on a fixed price contract with no extras - payments are aligned with the programme phases. The programme deliverables are guaranteed in writing from the start.
Many customers and operators are now requiring their suppliers to have AS9110 certification as well as the mandatory regulatory approval (EASA 145 and FAA145).
The QMS documentation must practical, visual and useable by the maintenance and repair personnel concerned. It must add value to the business, represent ‘best practice’, embody ‘just culture’ and focus on performance as well as conformity to requirements.
