The AS9100 Implementation Programme provides everything necessary to design, document and implement a practical AS9100 QMS (quality management system) with the aim of achieving third-party certification in the shortest possible timeframe - guaranteed in writing!
The implementation programme is now focused on the new AS9100:2016 Rev D standard (Quality management systems – Requirements for aviation, space, and defence organizations). Although the transition period extends to 15 September 2018 - all third-party certifications, re-certifications and surveillance audits will be to the AS9100:2016 revision from 15 June 2017!
TEC Transnational's consultants work on-site with your personnel throughout development and implementation and we only consider the programme complete after successful third-party certification.
Each programme is customised to suit particular requirements, for example:
Working with your team, TEC use high level visual aids to explain your QMS processes, simplify procedures and actively manage effectiveness and performance. For example, working with clients in the UK and USA hundreds of narrative procedures have been eliminated and replaced by 4 to 8 key processes - with each process visually mapped onto just four pages! This has resulted in a more efficient and streamlined business model and a user-friendly QMS.
The AS9100:2016 Implementation Programme is delivered in three phases to a timescale individually agreed with the client. Each phase has tangible ‘deliverables’ - with third-party certification being the deliverable of Phase-3!
TEC work on a fixed price contract with no extras - payments are aligned with the programme phases. The programme deliverables are guaranteed in writing from the start.
Increasingly aerospace/defence customers are mandating that their suppliers have AS9100 certification as a minimum with their own additional QMS requirements embedded. AS9100 certification is rapidly becoming the “Boarding Pass” for doing business in these sectors.
Certification alone is not sufficient! The QMS documentation must practical, visual and useable by the operational personnel concerned. It must add value to the business, represent ‘best practice’, and focus on performance as well as conformity to requirements.
The systems designed and implemented by TEC for their clients deliver all of these benefits. Because your personnel are involved every step of the way they will have ‘ownership’ of the QMS processes making day-to-day operational success ‘custom-and-practice’.
Your QMS will focus on customer priorities such as quality and delivery performance and ensure that your processes are monitored for continuing effectiveness to boost profits and eliminate problems as soon as they are detected. Risk-based thinking, the Process approach and Plan-Do-Check-Act cycle are considered to be the core concepts involved.
During the implementation phase, TEC will assess the competency of your personnel and then provide training and coaching as required to ensure that they can accomplish their jobs in a correct and consistent manner.
